It is important to note that the forum gathered diplomats, politicians, military, analysts and businessmen from more than 20 countries of the world. Former Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott, US Special Representative Kurt Walker, British Army Colonel Richard Justin Kemp, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and other distinguished guests were among the speakers of the event. Together with representatives of the Ukrainian side, politicians, military, experts, representatives of the authorities and the media, the participants discussed security issues in the Odesa region and the Black Sea, primarily the food, environmental, energy and logistics situation.
The restoration of shipping and the export of grain through Odessa's wartime ports are critical steps to support the country's economy and balance the world's food problem. Despite the threat, Ukraine demonstrates its resilience, readiness to recover and cooperate with international partners. The forum once again demonstrated the undeniable support of our country from the civilized world.
It is difficult to overestimate the level of importance of such an event and unification around Ukraine and the search for ways and mechanisms to strengthen our security. The problems and challenges we face today, and which we still have to overcome and implement after the war, were discussed in detail and to the point.
In general, both in private conversations and in public speeches, foreign speakers express comprehensive support for Ukraine, immersion in the challenges our country has faced, and sincere attempts to help overcome them. In particular, many participants note that the ports of Greater Odessa are one of the most important grain hubs in the world and need special protection.
Members of the Odesa Business Club are convinced that security in the region is the key to Victory and the successful recovery of Ukraine.
